2020 Nissan Murano Seating Capacity and Cargo Room

The 2020 Nissan Murano doesn’t get as much love as (we think) it should. It’s bigger than the Rogue and Rogue Sport, but smaller than the three-row, midsize Pathfinder. That can leave prospective customers wondering which is right for them. Let us fill you in.

Here’s how many seats and how much cargo space the 2020 Nissan Murano has.

Seating Capacity and Options

The 2020 Murano is a two-row midsize SUV with a max seating capacity of five. Both front and rear seats have lots of headroom and legroom. Also, seating in both rows features the Nissan Zero Gravity seats. They were developed over the course of a decade. Zero Gravity seats use 14 different pressure points to put your body into a comfortable, neutral position that supports hips, back, and shoulders. Review sites and prominent auto magazines have continuously praised the comfort these seats give to passengers. Cloth upholstery is standard on the S trim. Synthetic leather upholstery is standard the SV trim. The SL and Platinum trims have leather upholstery.

Max Cargo Space

The Murano doesn’t just have spacious seating. Cargo room is also plentiful. With the rear seats in place, there’s a respectable 32.1 cu-ft available. Fold those seats down and you’ll more than double that space to a square 67 cu-ft. The cargo bay entrance is wide and relatively low, making storage easy. Maneuvering things around back there is a cinch. A hands-free liftgate is also available. It comes in incredibly handy when your hands are full.
