2021 Nissan Rogue Trim Comparison: S vs SV
The 2021 Nissan Rogue is definitely an attention-grabber. With its all-new look, it stands out in the crowd. But no matter how great it looks, if it doesn’t have what you need, then it’s not the right vehicle for you. Let us give you the tour.
Today, we’ll be comparing the 2021 Nissan Rogue S and the 2021 Nissan Rogue SV. Keep reading to see performance specs as well as standard features for each trim.
Under the hood of every 2021 Nissan Rogue is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. It produces 181 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired to an Xtronic CVT with paddle shifters. Both the S and SV trims come standard with FWD, but the dynamic Intelligent AWD system is available. FWD models are rated at 27/35/30 mpg, while AWD models are estimated at 25/32/28 mpg.
The S trim might be the base trim, but that doesn’t mean it’s barebones. Standard features include Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, two USB ports, SiriusXM satellite radio, and an 8-inch touchscreen. It also has a bunch of safety features, including forward collision warning with automatic forward/reverse emergency braking and pedestrian/bicyclist detection, blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, rear parking sensors, driver attention monitoring, automatic high beams, and a rearview camera.
The SV ups the ante. It adds a Wi-Fi hotspot, proximity keyless entry, remote start, two rear-row USB ports, heated outside mirrors, and dual-zone automatic climate control. It gets a boost safety-wise too, with standard adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, a surround-view parking camera system, and ProPilot Assist. The available Premium package adds synthetic leather upholstery, a panoramic moonroof, a power liftgate, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, and second-row sunshades.
