2021 Nissan Murano: SL vs Platinum | Cathedral City, CA
As we mentioned in our Nissan Murano S vs SV comparison, the Murano is a midsize SUV that focuses on safety, efficiency, practicality, and affordability. However, if you have a little more wiggle room in your budget, then the Murano has some truly stellar top trims you may want to consider. And those trims are what we’re looking at today.
Below, you’ll find a comprehensive list features for the SL and Platinum trims, including the features they keep from the S and SV. Which model is right for you?
The 2021 Murano has a 260-horse 3.5L V6 engine paired to a CVT. FWD is standard, but AWD is available. The 2021 Murano SL and Platinum inherit many features from the S and SV trims. That includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, four USB ports, an 8-inch touch screen, dual-zone automatic climate control, remote start, power-adjustable seats, and more. The safety suite comes along for the ride too, giving the SL and Platinum front and rear collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, rear door alert, driver drowsiness monitoring, automatic high beams, and a handful of other features.
The SL trim features some serious upgrades from the SV. It adds GPS-linked navigation, an 11-speaker premium stereo, a hands-free power liftgate, leather upholstery, heated front and rear seats, and a heated steering wheel. It also gets front and rear parking sensors, road sign recognition, and a surround-view parking camera system.
The Platinum trim is cream of the crop. It has all the features from the trims before it, plus two premium additions. It gets a panoramic moonroof and ventilated front seats.
