With premium fuel, the 2021 Armada V8 can produce 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, a 10 horsepower and 19 lb-ft increase over the 2020 model, respectively. The engine is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. Every 2021 Armada model comes standard with RWD, but 4WD is available. The towing capacity tops out at 8,500 lbs.
New for the 2021 model year are a massive 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, and a 7.0-inch gauge cluster information display. Returning standard equipment includes a 13-speaker Bose stereo system, Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, HD Radio, and four USB ports. A rear-seat entertainment system is also available at higher trims.
The 2021 Armada also got some new standard safety features thanks to the Nissan Safety Shield 360. Automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rear automatic braking, rear cross traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, and high beam assist are all standard.
